ANGLO URDU BOY'S HIGH SCHOOL
Anglo Urdu Boys' High School was established in 1920. In 1927, the school was shifted to its present building constructed on a part of the 23 acres of land bought by the great business tycoon and The so-called king of sugar in the then sugar industry Haji Gulam Mohd Azam All of village Rander, Surat, Gujarat . Prior to, the school was run by the British Raj government. Thereafter,the government grant was discontinued and the Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Society (MCE) took over the school and had to depend entirely on the small amounts of donation it received from its patrons, from old boys and from members of the society. The government grant was restored in 1972.
Initially, the school had Urdu language classes and the young men of the community were deprived knowledge of English. This prompted the management to start English medium classes from Standard V to X in 1971. Now, the school has a junior college and students can complete their education up to Standard XII in any of the three disciplines of Arts, Commerce and Science, before they proceed to receive higher education in degree colleges. Nearly 1750 students of different castes and communities receive education through English as the medium of instruction.

ANGLO URDU GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL was established in the year 1937 to initiate the process of bringing education to the doorsteps of the common man.ll most all had favored the idea. It was initiated by the concerned efforts of benefactors, benevolent leaders and eminent educationists such as late Haji Gulam Mohammed Azam a business man from Surat, Late Khan Abdul Kadir leading lawyer of Pune city of his times and late Khan BahadurHidayatatullah.

M.C.S. ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL
Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society (MCES), was established in the year 1948 by Late Mr.Abdul Kadir Khan and others, with an objective of providing education to the economically, educationally and socially weaker sections of the society. It is an educational society registered under the Society's Registration Act of 1860 and also a Public Trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. It is also registered under section 12(a)of Income Tax Act 1961 and is exempted u/s 80G of the said Act by the Income Tax Commissioner, Pune.
The M.C.E. Society is one of the oldest educational organizations of Pune & has done pioneering work in the field of education. Within a span of 15 years the M.C.E. Society from a humble beginning of 4 schools has been transformed into an excellent educational complex of higher, medical, technical and professional academic institutions in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Law, Education, Pharmacy, Management Sciences, Architecture, Dental Sciences, Hospitality Studies & Information Technology.
